no 4x4

no 4x4
have 2002 with manual 5-speed and 4.0l.
When you cut 4x4 switch on, nothing happens, no light on dash.
Suggestions?

Either fuse or 4x4 module

In engine fuse box Check
Fuse #13, 20amp

In SJB(cab fuse box) Check
Fuse #5, 15amp
Fuse #10, 7.5 amp

A buddy of mine has the same problem but his wiring harness caught fire with the previous owner. I would definitely check the wiring harness for any defects
