Iratic idle
Hi all. Im having an idle issue with my 2000 3.0
When I go to start it on a cold motor I get the normal 1600 or so rpms for a few seconds and then it drops to around 1200 or so. Well now after the first drop from the 1600 area it`ll all of a sudden jump up to almost 2000rpm and over about a minuet or so it`ll come back down to normal. The check engine light is not on. It only dose this on a stone cold motor, not when its warm.
So im thinking my Idle Air Control valve is on its way out, could be TPS to but with the way its acting I dont think its the TPS. But Im writing to get more input on the issue before I spend the money.
