Issue hooking up running lights to fog light control

Well as the title states I am having an issue with the way that I foolishly configured the el cheapo running lights I just got. I did not have any luck getting the included wiring hooked up so I decided to just use the fog light hookup as they were smashed anyway. Got the lights to work-yay! Now on to the issue: foglights are designed to automatically turn themselves off when you switch to hi beams...all things considered I was trying to beef up my hi beams not the lows, with these lights.

So what I am really asking is how do you disable this auto shutoff of the foglights when you switch on the high beams. It would not be the worst thing to live with, but it does annoy me.

Thanks for any input

P.S. this is a 03 Edge 4x4

Pull the correct relay from the underhood distribution box.
Choose the correct blade and bend it over as shown.
Reinstall.

Works on 2002~2003 Rangers with factory foglamps, possibly others.
Does not work on 2004+ Ranger.

Bam!

If you are using the factory relay just be sure not to over do the lights ... You will burn the wiring if you use too high of an amperage draw...

Im using (2) 55w Walmart jobs in place of the stock fogs, which I believe are 45w? is that pushing it?
