vac gauge

I was thinking of getting a Auto Meter Cobalt Boost/Vac gauge for my truck. Can I just "T" off of the vac line to get it working?

I was looking at getting the Auto Meter Cobalt since the blue backlight would match everything nicely. The C2 gauges are a little too bright for my taste. Will the gauge come with everything I need for the install? Jeg's lists the same gauge and say that 1/8'' and 1/4'' NPT adapters and 6' nylon tubing is included. I'd rather go through Summit, since I can drive there and just pick it up.

you may want to go to sears and get silicone tubing and put it at the end of the nylon tube. Then plug the silicon to a plug cap on one of the already installed trees. The only reason i am saying this is when you drill into the manifold its a good idea to take it out and clean it after you drill it so as not to cause detonation.
And if you get rid of the truck for any reason it wi come out verry easillly.

I don't plan on drilling into anything. I'm just going to "T" off the vac line. Me and the drill have a shaky past lol
