KC Daylighters

Welp after thinking about this, and also browsing ebay, I have come to the conclusion that it apears I can get some daylighters for around $50. so heres a link, please tell me which ones are the best for price/ability.

what i want is more of a flood / long range light... after looking at zachs thread, it would apear to me as tho the driving lights from kc are what may work best for me. so, heres the link:'

when comparing the two different light styles - driving and long range, zach's lil chart doesnt really give a "how much light we talking" comparison.

I geuss what im saying is, can u see thru that whole "spectrum" with the long range lights? or is it more like, 2 "pencil" shapped beams of light going out to wherever?

thing is i dont really wanna spend $180 on a set of lights.
