HID lamps will not turn off

Ok so the lights wont shut off when i turn the switch off. Last night, I popped both fuses on my bi xenon wire harness for the lights. Went to the store and got more fuses. Put them in and they popped after 5 seconds. Today i was looking at everything and i noticed the hi/lo controller smoking when i turned the lights on. I quickly shut them off and saved my fuses. I repositioned the controller and now it doesnt smoke and the lights burn fine, but the wont shut off. I have to unplug the wire harness from the controller. Has anyone had this problem? I have searched online and cant come up with any answers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Im thinking i gotta replace the hi/lo controller although im not sure where to get it.

Bad ground maybe? Double check your wiring.

I checked the ground and it seems fine. I also checked the wires and they seem fine as well. I forgot to add that i have been running these light with no problems for about 6 months now.

Double check your wiring, where did you get the kit from?

I would guess the controller is bad, and it's going through the circuitry. This is why I don't mess with the BS Hi/Lo kits....

I would also look at replacing your headlight switch even if you don't "think" it's bad. The contacts inside could be touching even when off.
