Icon5 LED Aux Reverse Light

Has anyone ever tried a led bar are pod for a reverse light? Is it possible to hook it up to the reverse lights or is a light harness needed?

I don't have LED's, just regular aux lights but yes you can tap into the reverse lights. I didn't do it that way, I ran its own circuit because I'd like to be able to turn them on manually when i felt like it, especially while unloading stuff at night I can turn those on and the under the rail LED's inside the bed

That's how I'm going to do mine. Better to have them on-demand than to have them dependent on you being in reverse.

I agree it's not hard to do. It's really just a matter of needs and preference. Considering I have neighbors right across the street, I would imagine they'll get a little annoyed by all that light coming into their house late at night when I really don't need it to get down my short driveway lol

I have been considering running a switch. I know it's so much easier to get a wiring harness and run that. Thats what I'll end up going with. The hardest part was mounting the lights when I put led fog lights.
