led lights

I'm thinking about adding some more lighting onto my truck. Probably going to use these little led strips i found for 6 bucks. I can get them in either red or amber and i'm just curious if red on red would look good if i were to put them behind my billet grill and under the door panels? Thanks

I'm going to shoot the duck in your avatar unless you post photos of products when you ask for opinions.

try www.oznium.com for your cutom led lighting needs

..and, without making any threatening overatures towards the duck in your avatar, I will say that you probably don't want to have any red lenses or lights (or LEDs) facing forward on your vehicle -- it's illegal.

when i say behind my billet grill i mean so the LED's are facing down but you'll still see the red light behind the grill. and then some underneath the door panels inbetween the tires

I'm thinking i could just use the M1 or M2 series lights from this site. but if red's not possible then any suggestions on another color?

I understand. When I say illegal i mean you'll get ticketed (and possibly have your vehicle impounded) and will need to pay a fine (plus another fee to release your vehicle from impound).

no red or blue lighting, on or in the vehicle, facing or visible from the front of the vehicle.

no white lighting, on or in the vehicle, facing or visible from the back of the vehicle while the vehicle is in (forward) motion.

and, i believe, in your state.. no green lighting, facing forward or rear, unless you're a certified EMT actively working as a responder
