will a 4.0 iac work on my 3.0?

maybe...

best bet is to call ford and compre part numbers. That part really isn't something you wanna buy used.

This part is very important to the engines low rpm operation.

If your stuck on trying this.. disconnect the battery and put it through the idle learn process.
