Light Wiring

I got some Pilot lights today. They came with everything I need to wire them up. When I looked at the wiring diagram I got confused.

Heres the diagram:

Do I choose between A and B or do I do both or what?

And then what is the thing with the "?" next to it?

You want to splice into the ignition wire or easier the cig light wire. It just means you can only have them on while the light are on and you dont accidently leave them on. Not the cig lighter power but the wire that controls the light.

So I want to do A? Can I still wire it through a switch If I do it that way?

I would recommend throwing those instructions in the trash and buying a SPST 12V relay if you didn't get one with the lights and wire them up as follows: If you want them to come on any time tap the cig lighter power feed and connect it to the switch feed. If you want to have them on only if the IGN is on tap a power feed from the IGN to the switch. All the switch will do is control the relay not the lights directly. Mount the relay under the hood and run the switch wire to it. Tap power for the lights off the Battery Junction Box Buss Feed and run it to the relay. Run the other wire from the relay to the lights.

The thing with the '?' next to it is a rear view of the switch itself.
