You'd be hard-pressed to find one that sits against the cab, but a pair for the bed rails may be easier.

I think the bed dimensions for a 90's Ranger Splash may be the same?

There is ONE. Exactly ONE company makes them, I think you can get them new still. I found mine on Craigslist and have seen them pop up occasionally.

This and also a "low profile" version.
Amazon Amazon

I had trouble getting mine to fit with a bedliner(sticks out too much around the wheel wells), but I used a heat gun to heat the bedliner and pushed it out so the toolbox would fit.

Also the best way to bolt it down is to... not sure what to call parts so this might be hard.

The plastic lip that runs along the sides of the bed with 4 or 5 buttons covering large screws. Remove the 2 screws nearest the cab and replace with longer ones. Mark and drill the toolbox so those screws can hold it down from inside of the toolbox "wings". Use some larger washers too. This way you don't need any additional parts (besides the 2 longer screws) AND you don't have to drill any holes into your truck!
Also get some drawred/toolbox liner and put a couples pieces between the toolbox/bed. Dunno if its necessary but the mounting kits always come with some foam for that so I guess it does something.

For ***** and giggles, I looked up the inside bed width of a stepside Ranger.

45.81"

I searched for a 44" box (dimensions say 45 x 20.25 x 19.5 in) on Amazon, so It might be an appx. 3/8" gap on both sides with this one.

Amazon Amazon

Get a tape measure and confirm. This may be it for you. Good luck!
