Loss of Power

Hello,
I've got my 1992 Ford Ranger 3.0L and it keeps bucking when I accelerate. It seems like when I reach higher roms the engine struggles. I've got a brand new alternator and all of my spark plugs are good, new ignition coil. I'm thinking it's something fuel related, because sometimes when I'm cruising down the freeway, I'll lose power and it'll buck at me when I move my foot on and off of the gas pedal. I'll usually slow down to around 45 mph, and then it'll ride rough but I'll get back up to speed. Recently, it has gotten worse however. I was driving between cities and I got stuck going around 25 mph with a lot of bucking. I thought I might include that the engine is extremely sluggish all the time.
Thank you in advance for the help!
