Lost power at Day time running lights
Help! I was in the process of wiring in Day Time Running Lights. I tapped of the C150 connector and was able to get power with the engine on
However, the wire with 12 volts touched ground and stopped working. I have check fuse diagrams and am unable to restore power. Everything else seem to work fine. I would appreciate any suggestions. Many Thanks!

Welcome to the forum
If you didn't know "C150" has no meaning at all unless you include the year of the Ranger and unless some one reading this has a full wiring diagram of that year it still won't mean anything, lol.
So mention where the connector is, and the wire color can be helpful, but it is also year specific
Checking a fuse diagram is great but I would check fuses instead, unless you know the specific circuit?
And if you do then mention that not C150

Your welcome
Some DRL circuits also have an "In Gear" trigger, on manual trans its the e-brake pedal being up all the way, released
On automatics it can be triggered by Neutral switch on transmission linkage, DTR switch
It is often not seen in wiring diagrams but is there none the less, lol.
So after all wiring is in place and there is no headlights on with engine running try putting it in gear
