low beams dont come on when i pull my headlight switch?

Icon8 low beams dont come on when i pull my headlight switch?

i only seem to get hi beem only when i pull my lever in not out to set position all fuses are good changed headlight switch / checked bulbs parklights come on dimmer works
could it be my lever signal lights work wipers ect work? my running lights work
93 ranger 4x4

If you can access the multifunction switch wiring harness look and see if you can find a Red with Yellow stripe wire (low beams) and a Dark Blue with Orange stripe wire. With the light switch on check for power at these two wires. If you have power on those wires, check the Red with Black stripe wire. You should have power on this wire going to the low beams from the multifunction switch. Next, put your high beams on and check the Light Green with Black stripe wire (high beam and flash). If you don't have power at one or both of these wires or only get intermittent results then I'd suspect the multifunction switch is bad.
