Mouintaineer OHC

i got one from a mountaineer, the bracket is smaller, wondering if it will fit. can post pics if need. from a 98 5.0L AWD

Thats the sunroof one... No biggie, it will fit fine....

it is a sunroof OHC.....that is why the bracket is smaller.....it will take quite a bit more work to install this since the back of the bracket is held up by the headliner......if you don't use the headliner to hold it up, the back will have a gap in it and hang down....

it WILL fit with the headliner contours fine....

if i were you, i would sell this thing and get one from a Explorer/Mountaineer without a sunroof......

the bracket came right off the top frame! when removing it, it was 4 bolts from the top frame and it came right off!

if you look at the very BACK of the OHC, there is a little lip that slips up behind the headliner......the front part is held up by the bracket....THE FRONT PART ONLY.......in the picture you posted you can see the little black tab sticking out the back of he console....

np man, btw you don't need that entire wiring harness, alot of that crap is for the sunroof.
