Need 2001 Ranger electrical issues help
My 2001 (Ranger) Mazda B3000 4x4 Truck won't start. I have replaced the relay and for a couple of days it would start and run, so I figured a bad relay and was happy. But then it went back to not starting ( and I could not hear the fuel pump kick in when turning the key to on)... Replaced the relay again, but still no start and no fuel pump sound with key on.
Is it possible that the anti-theft system can be denying power to the relay or pump itself ? ( The theft light blinks about every 5 seconds with all both doors shut and key out of ignition).
I'd rather not go to the trouble of lifting the bed including the camper if it's not the fuel pump. (I'm 77yrs now).
The wipers also don't work with key on . (The truck will turn over, so the starter is fine but not getting fuel.)
Does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows all the wiring for this truck?
Or any suggestions on how to narrow this down some.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

PATS, passive anti-theft system, will disable fuel pump and fuel injectors, and also starter relay
But the THEFT light on the dash will flash rapidly if that's the problem, and after 45-60 seconds it will flash a 2 digit code if you leave the key on
Yes, THEFT light should flash every 4 to 6 seconds with key off doors closed to warn thieves away
CEL(check engine light)
CEL should come on with key on, that means computer has powered up(and it runs the fuel pump relay)
When you turn the key to START as soon as the engine starts to spins CEL should go OFF, that means computer is getting a timing signal from crank sensor, if CEL starts on then no start
Computer has no connection to starter motor/circuit, so it will only start spark and fuel injectors when it see a timing pulse from crank sensor
If CEL comes on with key on the computer has booted up and fuel pump relay should be trigger for 2 seconds, but 2 seconds only, you can repeat key off and on as much as you like to confirm no fuel pump sound
In the engine fuse box is the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay
If you don't have 2001 Owners Manual you can get it here: https://www.ranger-forums.com/genera...1-models-3747/
It has the fuse box layouts
You can "jump" the fuel pump relay slots to get 12v directly to the pump to see if its works
Find the relay in engine fuse box and pull it out
Ford has been partial to the Micro relays, their slots look like this: https://www.gtsparkplugs.com/images/...lay-wiring.jpg
But they also use regular square mini-relays like this: https://www.gtsparkplugs.com/images/...iring-840x.jpg
In either case wiring is the same
Slots 30 and 87 are for fuel pump 12volt power
Key off
Pull relay out
Use a jumper wire, bigger gauge the better this is an electric pump
Connect 30 and 87 slots together and you should hear the pump, assuming fuel pump fuse is OK
If no pump noise, last place to check is the Inertia switch, in the cab, passenger side foot well on the firewall
3 wire connector and has a big RED button on the top, looks like this: https://www.explorerforum.com/forums...pi-jpg.198133/
But can be behind lick panel
If RED button has popped up then push it down as TEMPORARY fix
Inertia switch only pops up if vehicle was involved in an accident, and it should have been replaced during any repairs, but is often not and just reset, but its not really "reset" a piece breaks inside when its "tripped" and RED Button can be pushed back down but IT WILL "trip again", slamming a door, going off a curb, hitting a bigger bump, ect................
