Anyway to get more slack out of e-brake cable???

Well I just finished my 3" body lift and I need to get some more slack out of my parking brake cable. Is there any way I could do this? I was thinking about adjusting the drums in and pulling the cable to get the slack. Will that work? I tried using the the bracket that came with the lift and its no where near close to getting the cables to fit. This is on a 95 ranger. Thanks

You don't need to use the bracket that came in the kit...

just pull it into the stock holder, then adjust your rear brakes down
