Need some help please

i have 02 ranger 3.0 auto 4x4 104,000 miles. Misfire cyl 6 , i changed plugs wires coil pack 2 new cats cause the kid i bought it from said cat was clogged, an i think pieces of cat could still be lodged in my exhaust, one of the cats the guy took off was completely empty, so obviously its gotta be stuck in my pipe some where? Going through hell with this thing, just did the camshaft synchro as well an new harmonic balancer, mechanic checked compression it was good, spark good, fuel good. 6cyl spark plug was dry and had a tan/light brown color no cracks. Tried to unbolt main cat from dual cat y pipe but could only get to one bolt the others i cant, very limited on tools, seemed to get a little power back. Might cut right at that cat today I need help please

Any cylinder needs spark, fuel and compression to fire

Compression is the best place to start since its mechanical, so either good or bad, no grey area
Did the mechanic give you the numbers for each cylinder?
If not see if you can get them from him, its very important

3.0l Vulcan engines will get burnt exhaust valves, and if that's the case then you will be wasting time and money on spark and fuel non-fixes
Cold engine, all 6 spark plugs removed, test each cylinder, write down results
2002, 3.0l should average 165-170psi

P0306 Misfire #6, is the code you have?
And no other codes?

And can you FEEL the misfire at idle and/or when driving?

Clogged exhaust will cause Lean codes and several cylinders will misfire depending on where the clogged exhaust part is located
You can remove the 2 upstream O2 sensors, so exhaust can exit thru those holes
It will be LOUD but you can test drive to see if engine runs better, if so then yes, exhaust is partially blocked

You can also use a vacuum gauge to test for clogged exhaust
Hook up vacuum gauge to intake
Start engine, 18-21" of vacuum is expected at idle
REV engine to 2,000rpms or so and hold it steady, vacuum should drop and then come back up to 18" or so, and hold steady, if its slowing dropping then exhaust is for sure clogged

I have used Rislone head gasket fix before and it works but its just temporary

These products are liquid Glass, when the glass comes into contact with the high temp of a firing cylinder it becomes a solid and blocks the leak but is soon broken off so more liquid glass comes in to seal it again
And it just repeats until the leak either gets to big to seal or liquid glass is all used up
2 or 3 months is usually the limit
Follow the instructions to the letter

If you are going to add more, drain the coolant first then add more coolant and more head gasket fix or you will plug up radiator and heater core

Thanks ron, much appreciated brotha, its running horrible now. I went down street to store didnt think i was going to make it back home, but i did and popped the hood to find green antifreeze flung all over the place, looks like one of the hoses next to the temp sensor is leaking, its leaking all the way down onto the oil pan.. its crazy cause this all just happened at once basically. Its been problem, fix. Drive for a week and new problem and repeat. For the past 2 months its been in the shop the majority. Idk what to do with it now. I want to keep it and i have so much into it it wil be hard to just get rid of it. Its only got 104,000 miles on it. Trans shifts smooth as butter. But after i got suspension done I noticed it now has this weird noise everytime i come to a stop and when i take off. Only up to ablut 5mph it sounds almost like a bearing or gear, my father inlaw thinks pulley bearing but idk ill post video of sound if i can figure out how lol
