Doors don't latch right.

Doors don't latch right.

My rear door on my drivers side doesn't want to latch on the top with normal shutting force. If I want it to close I have to grasp the door at the very top and really slam it shut. Is the little black striker loop adjustable? I can't tell because it is covered up by interior trim.

I dont know if you still have a warranty or not but if you do you can take it back to ford to change the latch. I had the same thing happen on my driver side door and they did it on warranty

you can adjust the loop yourself....its just 1 or 2 screws in the door jam
once loosened slide the loop just a little bit towards the outside of the truck...

i don't know about your truck but mine actually has little gauge lines so you can see how far you moved the striker.



if all else fails...weld the doors shut, General Lee style
