Yeah good luck with that. I have a feeling you will be melting the stock wiring with such high wattage. Who do you need 160 watts worth of lighting anyway? Are you that blind?

For what though? Offroading? Get some lights and mount them to light tabs. Done.

run 3000k HIDs.. that are 35W or 55W..

35W are standard which are way bright.. and 55W i am guessing are godly bright.

ok, but my problem and my question was that the "how to" fog light mod listed will not work on a 06 unless i am missing something. does any one have a 06+ with this done?

It wont happen right away. It will slowly burn through the stock wiring.

If you need more light then use highbeams? What your going to end up doing is blinding everyone and getting pulled over. Then the cop is going to say you need thicker glasses.

You are getting bashed because it's a bad idea. Look at where the stock fogs are. They are too low to actually give you any more forward lighting. I have high beam bulbs in my fogs and I took out the metal defusers and all it did was light up the ground that is directly in front of my truck. If you need more forward lighting then get HIDs or get a set of driving lights. But don't get them so bright that you are blinding people.
