Bad Groud/Cutting out speaker in a '98 Ranger XLT

I have a '98 Ranger and I haven't done anything to the sound system whatsoever. My drivers side door speaker just started messing up and I can't seem to figure out what it is. Anyone had this problem with their or should I just redo the wiring from my radio to my speaker?
