ac/heat **** not working

i have no heat in my 1995 ranger. all area's checked out so i suspect that the ac/heat **** is not functioning. any suggestions?

A broken blend door drive tab is a possible and likely cause. Search on this site or Google "blend door fix" or similar.

checked blend door and seems to open and close fine so question now is should the blend door be open or closed for heat to work?

how do you know its working fine? Can you see it move when you change the temp control from heat to cool?
