o.k. here goes

when I hit my brake with the keys out of the ignition this is what happens

-- door open chime comes on
-- dash light come on
-- fog lamps and rear taillight come on

when I have the key on with the left blinker on only

--left work o.k., but, right tailight blins also along with the front blinker(both dim though)

if I turn my lights on everything works o.k.

right turn signal only, everythings o.k.

ive already checked all fuses, bulbs, ????? what else could it be besides a short somewhere? any help?

 

similar prob for me. when i hit my breaks my cargo lights comes on, along iwth my dome light. it gets pretty annoying.

 

Nothing. Thats what the problem is.

Most likely, there is a corroded connector causing a high resistance connection to your LEFT BRAKE/TURN to your LEFT TAIL circuit. Check the bulb socket, the connectors at the tail lights, and the trailer light harness.
