O/D light blinking and check engine light on

Hey I have a 2001 Ford ranger with a 3.0l v6 rwd, I have a problem where the O/D light is blinking while the check engine light is on, we unplugged the battery and replugged it in and it went away, came back a week later and unplugging/replugging didn't fix it so we cleaned the ground off and then it went away, and now it's doing it again and we don't know what's going on, it drives butt won't shift/shakes everytime I press on the gas, redid a ground too, anyone know what could've going on? Also it throws 10 for codes with the shift solenoids, o2 sensors, etc, anyone know what could be going on?

Welcome to the forum

Post the codes, exact codes
There are 12 different O2 codes, and only 3 having anything to do with the O2 sensors, lol

OD Off light flashing means problem in transmission, P0700-P0804 codes so need those as well
Unhooking battery doesn't fix anything just resets some of the codes

Partial Ford Code list here: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...trouble_codes/

Good to look up codes on a list, each "device" will have several codes and each means something slightly different
Just FYI
P0xxx codes are generic, i.e. Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Audi, Honda, ect............are required by law to use these codes and meanings
P1xxx codes are Car maker specific meanings

All transmission codes
P0743 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical
P0750 Shift Solenoid A Malfunction
P0755 Shift Solenoid B Malfunction
P0760 Shift Solenoid C Malfunction
P0765 Shift Solenoid D Malfunction
P1747 EPC Solenoid Short Circuit

O2 heater codes
P0135 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0141 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0155 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

P1409 EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Circuit

These codes all have Fuse 41(20amp) in engine bay fuse box in common, so check it, its blown most likely
Put in a new fuse, if it blows with key on then you most likely have a short in one of the O2 sensor wires, they can get near exhaust and melt

P1451 Evap Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit<<< this can also be powered by fuse 41

Ah yes I have, sorry I forgot to respond but the fuse was blown that the dude in the earlier thread said, it indeed fixed my issue as of right now so I recommend looking at your 02 wires and checking your fuses

The 20 Amp was blown but keeps blowing instantly when truck is started. I'll take a look at the O2 wiring this weekend. Hope that is the issue because truck runs like garbage.

Hello, I have all o2 sensor heater bank codes. P0135, P 0141, p0155, p1132 and P1152. What I have confirmed so far.

1. 12 volt power to the sensor with key on
2. Good continuity at the sensor while unplugged. 3.9 -4.0.
3 I changed one o2 sensor just to be sure and same result.
4. live data shows Short term fuel load at -100 meaning truck is leaning all the way.
5. unplugged all sensors and checked live data, Still 0.000 V from sensors.
6. Attempting to located all grounds to check but finding them is hard.
7. Trying to find splice 133 to check for wiring problem but cannot find it.
