Recirculate Door does not open

Hi. I have searched for quite a bit in this forum and on google to see if anyone else has had this issue I am having. My MAX A/C setting no longer opens the door inside the cab behind the glove box. I pulled the vacuum line connected to the 'thing' that moves the arm to open the door and can feel a vacuum. I am not really sure just how strong of a vacuum it should be. Thanks in advance to all.

If you do a search for Blend Door Actuator, you will find that you are not alone, and I'm sure that you will find what you are looking for. seems to be a fairly common problem

Sorry, I was not specific enough. Every function except MAX A/C works. The selector switch can be moved through all positions with each functioning properly such as defrost, floor, vent, combo floor and defrost. Only MAX A/C is not working. The door behind the glove box to the far right that lets air in from the cab does not open when MAX A/C is selected.

First try manually cycling the door by hand to ensure its not binding. If the door is not binding and if you happen to have a hand vacuum pump or other source, you can test the actuator to see if it will move.

The door does move, seems good. I did open the door manually some months back to fish a leaf out if the fan blades. Do you happen to know what amount of vacuum out should be, the hose connected to the actuator has a vacuum but it is very weak. I am really not sure how strong it should be though. I will get a hand vacuum tool tommorow and try and see if the actuator still works.
