Odomoter question

Say my odomoter starts at 10 mph, to put it down to zero, would i just take off the plastic plate, and push it down to zero? or is it more complicated than that?

I recon that all you would have to do is take the needle off and put it back on on the zero mark. If you just push it down the servo will just reset back to 10 when you start the truck
