offroad lights for lightbar

ok, i searched and just about everything i searched came up w/ nothing at all or had nothing to do w/ offroad lights.

im wanting to buy the CARR roof mounted light bar and 4 lights to put on top and 1 facing back for a cargo light. i got a price at a local shop for 150 for the regular CARR bar and bracket and 220 for the rota bar an bracket. the lights were gonna be another 4-500. i thought that sounded kinda high so i thought i would ask here. wheres the best place to buy these at? im lookin to get 2 floods and 2 spotlights and idk for the rear. i would also consider other light types and combonations. i was also mainly looking at KC lights. any suggestions on particular lights and styles (flood, spotlight, driving)? thanks

If you aren't gonna use them for racing or something like that i would not spend anywhere near $100 per light because you dont need that kind of lighting. look at the procomp 130W driving lights, i think they are around $30 per light or some walmart special at like $5-10 a light lol. just my 2 cents.

Me, I'm a KC guy. I've got 4 KC 130 watt slimlites on the grille guard and 4 KC 6x9 100 watt on the light bar. I wouldn't really recommend the 6x9's for the light bar though, they are pretty heavy, hence why I had to put a cotter pin in. I'd say stick to one style light (either both round or both rectangle).

Don't buy the light bar from the store. This is where I got mine $113 plus shipping. The site also has the mounting bracket for $24.

Mounting bracket http://www.autopartsdeal.com/catalog...333+3681&Nty=1

As to where to buy the lights, just search around, you'll find the right deal. And if your deciding whether to go round or rectangle up top, thats personal preference.

Round
On my bronco

On my brothers taco

Rectangle
On my truck

Oh and knock on wood, I've never broken a KC light. The lights and light bar that are on the Bronco, thats the 2nd Bronco that its been on. Got my first Bronco Fall 2000, put those lights on maybe a year later (possible sooner). So those lights have a good 8 years on them and they are still holding up. And no I don't baby them or the truck. I beat the **** out of it.

That all depends on if you think your going to need to rotate it or not. It is the same height as the regular light bar. Well how much are you looking to spend on lights. Thats your first question. From there we can help you out. And when it comes to wiring, use the search button and ask questions first before you try and do it.

Light Bar $113
Mounting Kit $24
Shipping $7.25
Total $147

My lights on the other hand were a bit pricey. At the time I picked them up from JC Whitney. Each pair was $147, free shipping. But then again I only like the best.

The lights on my grille guard were all presents, but those will cost you between $150-$200. You can however get yourself KC Daylighters, those are whats on my Bronco and they are great.

Your basic choices for lights are gonna be driving, fog and long range. What are you planning on using the lights for? Wheeling at night time? Looks?
