Parking brake delete - line lock instead

2010 ford ranger xlt single cab 2.3l automatic - I am tired of fiddling with the rear parking brake shoes install - and i do not want to pull the axles. that opens up more costs. Instead, i am looking at installing a line lock on the rear wheels brake line, has anyone entertained the thought ? Ive put them in before on my vettes, work good, not going to use it for a long duration, just to keep it still for a bit. FORD could of done better on the rear parking brake - there are lots of ideas out there, but pulling axles - bad idea

I reviewed the rear brake lines this evening, one for the Pass side and one for driver side. Ill order two line locks, rated 1000psi, one for each side. make two custom brackets to hold the LL near the axle caliper bracket, disconnect the 3/16" stock lines at the caliper hose bracket, route the steel line to the LL, and outlets to calipers hose bracket where they came from. Install one switch, relay and hot wire to the pair, bleed the lines, and report back.
