I must have posted in the wrong forum because i didn't an answer so i will try this one. I am in the middle of swapping my auto tranny out with a manual one and i was told that i need to change my PCM out. The problem i am having is that my donor truck which is the same year as mine has a completely different type of connection then my truck. And one ore question is i was reading and i saw that as long at the computer i have doesn't say AT or MT in the part number it will work for both applications. Any help from anybody would be great.

 

You don't have to swap the PCM's **I think**

IN my sct tuning software (same that the tuners use) I can turn off/on the needed things to go from a auto tranny to a manual.
