Relays getting warm? Is this normal?

So i have a 95 ford ranger with a fuel injected 5.0 and 4R70W tranny 203/205 transfer case. My question is that there are three relays under the hood that will get some what hot when the truck is either running or just with the key on and engine off they are the WOT ac cut off relay fuel pump relay and pcm power relay. Is this normal?
Thanks

Relays contain an inductor and because of the physics of inductance there will be heat.

Those three relays should always be on when the ignition is on, except for the WOT relay which is only on when the compressor needs to be on.

How hot are we talking?
