Turn signal issue

Issue: Right rear is flashing 2x speed. and right front not flashing. Right indicator lamp in dash not illuminating. Hazard lights working.

Actions take: All exterior bulbs replaced; dash bulb tested (good); and replaced. All light bulb connections tested; **--right running light flasher is not getting power--**

Outcome: After dash bulb was re-inserted flashers worked correctly for about 1/2 of country road driving, then back to front R not flashing and rear R flashing 2x.

QUESTIONS:
Where do we need to look next?
Where in the system does one usually see wiring issues?

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!

The rear bulb is blinking fast because the front bulb is out. Once you get the problem with the front bulb fixed, the fast blinking will go away.

With that said, I'd start by checking all of the connectors to make sure they aren't loose or have any loose wires in them. Pull all of the connectors apart and check for water. I recently had an issue with blowing a fuse every time I used the brakes. After chasing it down for quite some time, I had water in one of the connectors.

Also check the wiring as it goes through the header panel and under the hood. You could have one that is frayed and causing a short.

Thanks for identifying a couple of places to check for wiring issues, "Also check the wiring as it goes through the header panel and under the hood", just what I was looking for.

Will be checking the front R connector next, and then get to the wiring on the weekend.
