I installed a F350 master cylinder in a 2003. Just needed adapters for the brake line ports.

It has a larger bore to push more fluid. So it should give you more responsive braking.

I did it on mine because 1 ton axles and brakes. It stops alright.

It stops alright because of the extra weight of 1 tons or it stops alright as an upgrade over stock?

It just stops alright. Nothing amazing but I have a very heavy wheel/tire combo. I never ran the f350 master cylinder with stock brakes and never ran the stock master cylinder with 1 ton brakes.

You should see some improvement using the larger bore master cylinder with stock brakes. Moving more fluid faster should give you faster more responsive brakes.

How would my braking be if it was a 250 resovoir and the disc conversion?

I tried it with my truck and had no difference in braking. Not better or worse.

Still trying to figure out the best set up but for now I'm back to the ranger Master
