fog lights for a 2007

my truck didnt come with fog lights. i put them in myself. it wasnt hard at all. the hardest part was running the extension cord into the cab. use 3 wire 14awg extension cord, its alot easier to work with that 3 seperate 'loose' wires. and its cheap enuff, 25ft should be more than enuff, just cut the ends off it.
I havent rellay looked at the mounting pts on the new rangers, but on mine, and 05's the fogs are held on with these 'half nuts' its a joke really. i found removing the valance part where it curves around the side to be the easiest way to install then, cause u have a lil plastic box type thing on the inside of the curve,m and its a royal btch to get to, its MUCH MUCH easier to bend the valance kinda straight so u can get ur lil paw in there to hole the nut while u tightne the bolt.
i used 3 stainless steel bolts, washers, lock washers, and lock nuts to hold my fogs on, and it works extremely well, all i did was paint the heads of the bolts that you can see black to they blend in more. I bought the lights off a kid on here, but their on ebay, and i THINK the 04 fogs will work, but your hafta check how their mounted on other trucks.
i had everything to do it, so it didnt cost me anything other than the lights, but even so, the dealer wanted some outrageous amount of money to do a half assed mickey mouse installation. total time cause im a slow mover was about 3hours.
heres a before and after.
before: I was told some of the turcks came prewired. and while this statement turned out to be half true, i still used my own harness sinces it a zillion times better than fords mickey mouse harnesses. I found out the fogs are prewqired behind the dash, but noy in front. I was looking thats why my headlights were missing.
After
oh, i wrote a crappy tutorial too, i know 1/2 the pics dont work, but it gives you an idea.
