power window problem

You'll need to get a in-dash wiring harness from a 2007 + Ranger. If you plan on buying one from a salvage yard don't tell them you have a manual transmission.(You won't find one for a manual trans) A harness from an automatic will work. You'll also need the Smart Junction Box aka the fuse box that's behind the passenger side kick panel. It just so happens that I have an extra 2007 SJB for PW/PD/PM. Let me know when and if you decide to do this conversion. I also have the power buttons/switches with the door handle bezels (I think that's what you call them)

I've been down this road before ... actually two different times!

Ill just have to keep my eye out for the harness. There isn't anything that new around here.

You might be able to buy a new 2007 or 2008 harness from the dealer for $300. (That's if you can get it at the discounted price) I couldn't buy the one for my truck at the dealer because it was obsolete.) I can't believe FoMoCo makes things obsolete after 7 years. It also had a lot to do with my truck having a 5-speed manual trans.
If you see a 2007 or older Ranger with the 5-speed manual trans and the power options then it's definitely a special order truck or the person went through the trouble of adding the power options.
