power window problems

power window problems

i know there is a number of posts on this but didnt find what i was looking for my window goes up and down fine but when it gets to the top where it slides into the weather striping it makes this poping noise and you have to help it go the rest of the way up what would be causeing this??

Could be the regulator. If there's some teeth missing on the regulator it could cause this, Or could be a week motor.

The gear in the power motor is stripped at that point mine did this and i had to replace it not that hard just have a dremel handy! Mine did it all the way up though lol and the passenger one did it only at the top replacing the motor solved this problem.

got it fixed the regulater was missing some teeth
