I want the silverstar polarized ones for my '04 and I just want to pick them up locally, but all I they have are the 3157s. Looks like they will work, but are they amber?

 

Replacement for:
Incandescent: 3057, 3157, 3157K, 3357, 3457, 4157

Wedge Base Size: 0.625 in

As long as its a dual element bulb with the same base than it will work.

IIRC, the silverstars are blue tinted when off, and light up amber.

 

But I think the ones Advance has are clear when lit up (3157). I'll have to check. I knew they would work from looking at them a little closer, but just wondered what you guys have experienced. Thanks!

 

Well I found the 3157 amber silverstars locally after all. They work great. Again, thanks for the help. I figure this stuff out on my own, but I am not so proud as not to ask for other's opinions or experiences.
