Prorated battery replacement?

Prorated battery replacement?
I have a napa legend 75 battery in my beater cadillac.
It went bad. It now reads..... 1.28 volts yes thats not a typo.
A couple questions about prorated replacements.
The date on the battery march 04 , is that the date it was made
or the date it was installed (its the date where you color in the circles)
Also how much do these cost I cant find em online.
Its a Napa Legend 75
part number is susposedly 7578
Its for a 91 caddillac deville with the 4.9 V8
