Quick HID help

My DDM kit just came in and I just want a little help with the extra wires. Don't just give me the it's plug and play crap, I know that. I want to understand how it all works as well. Yes I searched

Headlights. 2 bulbs (HI/LO) 2 ballasts

Fogs. (2 bulbs, 2 ballasts) (Where do the 2 extra red and black wires go?)

Here's the tricky part. The relay. It seems like they hook into the ballasts, then the battery? Why do I only have 1 blue plug thing?

Thanks a bunch.

The foglight harness is still confusing though, should there be a plug for the original plug to clip into?

nope mine didn't come with anything to plug into the original plug for the stock fogs...had to basically just insert the pins into the stock plug and wrap them with electrical tape so they don't slide out...just make sure there is a good connection...or you could use some butt connectors and splice the wires together
