quick strobe question

hey guys, i just got strobes and i tested them out today, they're really bright and i'm satisfied with them.. however, i have a question of where i should mount them.. because i have black headlight housings/corners, therefore no mirror finish like clear corners have.. should i put them in there and hope they're still bright or should i bite the bullet and put them in the headlight housing? i have HID's as well, so i'm thinking they will just drown out the strobes if i put them in the headlight housing

is it some cheap strobe kit or an acual nice kit cause a bright kit would be fine in even a black housing and how often would u have the headlights and hids on at the same time? and if u will often have them on at the same time then just put them in your corners instead of your headlights

it's a 50 watt kit, it's nice
i'm just gonna put them in the corners, it's safer, plus corners are easier to replace anyways (since there's gonna be a big hole in them) and they won't drown out from the brightness of the HID's

ive pondered this same deal before. i have a set of strobes sitting in my tool box right now. I also thought about using the turn signal side of the headlight.

i got them wired up and installed. i'll let you guys know how it goes tonight!
