rear door stuck

Icon5 rear door stuck

i have a 2004 with the rear right door stuck shut,any tricks of getting the latch to let go so i can lube it ?

yeah right,she might be a rough truck but its gotta last me,


i can see in the door by removing the rubber plug,a small little lever that i can just reach with a screwdriver,but i think all i can do is keep soaking it with wd40

Did you make sure the cable is still connected to the door handle? It is similar to a hand brake on a pedal bike and my drivers side rear door has the cable slip out all the time, rendering the door handle useless.

i have not drilled out the handle yet,the top latch is working fine,iam suspecting that its just rusted closed

I have the exact same problem. but, i kicked the hell out of it and it still wont open. plus i managed to destroy my rusted out door in the process... help
