im pretty sure most brush guards bolt on below the bumper so raising the body wont do anything and you should even do fine if you decide to put the bumper brackets on.
|
the bumper brackets are weak that come with the body lift!
I wouldnt rec.! |
^^^yea, which is one reason i dont have one cuz i couldnt deal with the bumper gaps. just giving the kid an answer to his question.

if you move up the bumpers there will be a space of three inches between the bumper and the brushguard....if you have a brushguard that has bolts for the bumper along with the frame then it will not work right.....special brackets can be made to move the brushguard back to the current location |
the bumper you want will bolt to the frame. to make it strong enough to winch with, you will have to fab one to work with the body lift
|
Yeah, to my knowledge, no one makes a brushguard for our trucks that has winch capabilities. You can run a front reciever which mounts to the frame and put a winch on that, but if you body lift, you will have to cut a hole in the valance.
