1 bulb to 3 bulb

well i have a 1998 ford ranger that had a solid red 3rd brake light and wile at the junk yard i saw one with red and white so i grabbed it and got it for free and it looks like all the wires are in my plug to power all three bulbs but the reverse lights dont work? any ideas, are they just bed lights, and if so how do i turn them on? thanks

Ask silver...but they are cargo lights, and you turn them on the same way you turn on your interior lights...by scrolling that thing that is beside the regular light switch

ok...with that thing.....most cars i thought scrolled up to a point and then had a "bump" and then it would turn on the light in the cab.....mine doesnt do this it goes all the way up and stops....no turning on the interior light with it.

sometimes mine gets hard to go, the other day it was really cold and i had to use both hands, so idk, it def should click though and the lights should come on. if its a junkyard piece (the CHMSL light) all three bulbs are probably burnt out. they are 921 bulbs
