Replace Clock Spring

Hello everyone, new here and was hoping to find some help. I have a 2010 Ford Ranger 2wd reg cab that I am trying to replace the clock spring on. I've already disassembled and started reassembling everything up to the point of putting the clock spring back on. The Clock spring just seemed to snap into place and I've made all the connections but I'm stump at this point. There is a yellow pull tab on the upper left that I know have to pull before I put the steering wheel back on? Any precautions, do I need to hold anything, will the clock spring move ect? Or just pull it and put the steering wheel back on?
Thanks

Just pull it off, its there for transport and handling so it doesn't unspool, its not really a "spring", just called a "clock spring" because thats what it looks like
