im gonna disagree with ya Zach, i loved my street glow neons when had them on my old ranger. they were very bright, i cant speak for the reactor brand as i have never seen them.

the gold series from street glow are bright, they stand behind the warrany and replace the bulb if it breaks.

led's are almost like a line of individual lights. ive heard that they last forever or at least a lot long than neons. i think thats really the only difference

See I have seen the difference between the street glow and the reactor and they dont come close. also reactor has LONGER tubes then streetglow also so it would work better on a truck. and everyone i knew that had street glow had problems with blowing tubs and my reactor was on for 2 years and never had one problem with it. also they only cost $75 a set...

reactor is a decent brand i mean dont get me wrong i dont wanna pick a fight or anything, but i mean most people run street glow just because it is tried and true... i had 7 green neons in my old car, along with 3 strobes, and an underbody kit, all street glow and never had any problems... if you really wanna know anything just go to www.streetglow.com and visit the forums. they can tell you just about anything you need to know

Neons = more glow but not as intense

LEDs = more concentrated glow but very nice colors

IMO a good LED kit will blow a neon kit away. its all about aiming the tubes. also, cold cathode tubes an option. u have to make ur own kit but they will blow all others away. i can go on all day about these 3 as i was into all that stuff. streetglow is nice but expensive. and the forums there suck. reactor isnt bad, they are bright. it all comes down to what u really want.

street glow seems to have more deeper colors, others seem to be brighter but the color isnt as deep IMO. LEDs are great, just need to know how to aim the tubes. and cathodes are bright, deep colors and are cheap. u can make a whole cold cathode tube UB kit for cheap and have it twice as bright as a neon kit.

LED's are awsome, but it's all about the aiming. I had a set of street glows and a set of varad led kits on my civic. The street glows lit up nice with deep colors. BUT the varad led kit lit up better after I spent a couple of hours trying to aim them perfect.

The thing with the led kits is that they direct the lights to one certain point, So you have to work with them to find the perfect aiming for your vehicle. Another nice thing about the LED kits is that if you don't have a sure flat surface, You can bend them a little and they won't crack. They are able to bend and flex with your vehicle.

Kits like street glow are awsome just because all you have to worry about is mounting them, they will always give off a nice glow. They also do stand behind their warranty. I had to exchange a few myself including a couple of the ballasts.

Anyway, that was my 2 cents from owning both of those kits.
