rusted brake line...help?

Found out my brake line just to the rear end of the gas tank has sprung a horible leak. Havent driven the truck in over a year and a half, so im just coming back to all this. I have searched the webs for preformed lines, nothing. I guess i need to fab my own, my question is,

What is the i.d. of the metal line running along the frame?
Also, would it be okay to just cut and replace the bad section, or should i just redo the whole truck brake lines- metal and rubber?

Also another question not related to this, what is the thread and pitch of the exhaust header bolts? I took off the cats to replace and i misplaced the nuts and need to get new nuts...

Thanks
