Safe Floor jack points

Searched the forum abit for this answer. What are the safe jack points for the ranger with a floor jack. The owners manual shows these little hooks on the control arm but that doesnt work with the floor jack. Is the front crossmember safe with 2 jack stands on either side. And for the rear is it safe to lift off the axle and place 2 jack stands on either side of the axle.

Thanks for the help

I always use the front cross-member.

I jack the front on the bottom of the front cross member, then put jack stands just under those hooks on the control arms. I have to use a 4x4 block of wood between the jack and the cross member because the truck is so high and my floor jack doesn't go up that high. I also like to use the block for the rear. It's like a cushion between the metal on metal contact.

The rear is jacked from the bottom of the rear diff (pumpkin) and jack stands put under the rear axle.

I like to raise the truck and support all 4 corners on jack stands when rotating my tires. Just makes things easier.
