I have a 1998 Ranger 3.0 auto pre PATS that I installed remote start on. The system works but not exactly how Id like. I ran one 12v lead to the coil and one 12v lead to the pcm power up wire but I am thinking Id rather run the leads to the ignition by the key so my heater and other accessory kick on. My question is more or less what wire(s) do I need to tap into to achieve this? I have read my chilton book and it was less than helpful on the main key harness. Has anyone done this or should I just leave it as it and run one of my spare 12v accessory wires to the heater?
