PRESSURE PROBLEM WITH BRAKES

WHAT REGULATES BRAKE PRESSURE TO BRAKE CALLIPERS. I HAVE A 2008 RANGER 2.3. PRESSURE IS CONSTANTLY MODULATING DURING MODERATE TO LIGHT BRAKING. BRAKE PEDAL PRESSURE IS CONSTANT AND DOES NOT FLUCTUATE. SO IT SEEMS LIKE THE PROBLEM IS LOCATED AFTER THE MASTER CYLINDER. ANY HELP?

Sounds like the calipers are seized. Master puts pressure to calipers. Master cylinder rarely fails on these trucks, however calipers do (in my experience). Good luck man

Last year I had a problem with my 08 FX4 in moderate braking when slowing down to stop. Under light pedal pressure at a low speed, it would feel like something in the brake system would "release" and momenatarily it'd seem like only half the braking system was functioning - and then it would seem alright. Turned out the ABS sensors in my front hubs had failed. When replaced, all braking now seems normal.
