Power Lost in All Gears

So today, my dad and I took on the epic of putting on a new Valve Cover Gasget. After we got it on and everything back together. The engine started shaking really bad, and I noticed a lost power in Every Single Gear.. At Idle it feels as though the engine wants to stall out. Now, when we put everything together some of the Gasgets broke (EGR and the one that goes on the throttle). Could those two missing gasgets be whats causing my engine to shake wildly and lose power?

Sounds like it could be related to the EGR. My Blazer would do that when the EGR clogged. Any CEL codes?

No CEL Codes... However, we did have to pull the EGR out of the way, and kinda bent ever so slightly, but no serious issue... Other than the gasget busting off of it.

You can have a vacuum leak at those two gasket locations causing a lean condition. I would replace them. Only about 3 or 4 bucks.

So I put, a gasket on the EGR and that sort of help the issue, however, its still lost power. I put SIllicon on the Throttle Base where it connects to the air filter, and figure that that would keep the air out,,,, or perhaps I'm wrong.
