skid plate on level II standard?
His the front skid plate standard on a 03 level II cause i dont have one on mine. I bought it used and its not there, does ford has one for it and if yes how much money his it worth. I just have one on the gas tank

You should have one on the front and one on the transfer case as well. If you do mroe than mild offroading, it'd be a better investment to have one made. The stocker is more for keeping water and muck out of the fan/engine compartment. You can find em on ebay for around $50 usually. Search for "Ranger Skid"

Ford gets over US$200 for the factory front skid plate. That's a lot of money for what it is. If you want a used one, look for the black painted type that came on the Level II's. It is thicker and a little stronger than the stainless one that was on earlier trucks.

I dont go often offroading with it, had a bad experience with my old s-10. I just want something to kept the snow from backing in the front. Ill try to call Ford tomorrow i work in a mechanic shop so i have my parts nearly at cost, plus i need the pinion seal for my front diff. I only have 40 000 mile on it and one trail and it started to leak,

Are these skid plates a direct bolt-on to an '01 XLT Off-Road vehicle or would I need to drill holes and get a mount?

yep theyll bolt right up to your. 6 bolt. 4 by the bumper and 2 in the rear

Damn i didnt no that the exchange rate was so much. They want 350$ canadian garage cost. I think im going to make my own at that price.
